Important Terms & Conditions for Issuance and Use of This Report

This report must be read together with the information provided for the tested specimen on the accompanying pages.

>Scope of the Report: The details presented in this report reflect the results obtained at the time of evaluation, based on IGL’s expertise, available database, analytical tools, and standard disclosure policies.

>Condition of the Submitted Specimen: The accuracy of the findings may be influenced by the specimen’s condition at the time of submission. Gemstones tested in mounted jewellery, rough form, or bead strings may limit the tests that can be conducted. Results for such items remain subject to these limitations.

>Changes After Certification: The appearance or properties of a gemstone may be altered after certification. Integrity Gemological Laboratory (IGL) will not be responsible for any changes that occur after the report is issued, and such changes will render the report invalid. If the altered specimen is resubmitted, the report wording may differ from the original.

>Tampering or Modification: The report becomes void and invalid if it is doctored, tampered with, modified, altered, or if any information is added or removed—either from the report or the specimen.

Natural Colour or Appearance Changes: Certain gemstones may exhibit colour or appearance changes due to their natural inherent properties. IGL is not responsible for such naturally occurring changes.

>Unidentifiable Treatments: Some treatments cannot be detected through standard gemological methods. Therefore, IGL does not comment on the presence or absence of such undetectable treatments.

>Limitation of Liability: IGL, including its employees and agents, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from errors, omissions, interpretation, issuance, or use of this report.

>No Responsibility for Use-Based Actions: Neither IGL nor its employees shall be responsible for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from reliance on this report.

>Origin Opinion Disclaimer: The origin stated in this report is an expert opinion, based on available gemological data. Different laboratories may offer differing origin opinions due to overlapping characteristics. IGL shall not be held liable in such cases.

>Weight of Studded Gemstones: For gemstones set in jewellery, the weights listed are either provided by the client or inscribed on the item.
